Highlights from May 2013

 

The kids had a Spring Sing Concert for school.  Wyatt wore his new suit!  Then we went to Baskin Robbins for dessert.

 

 

Wyatt and Chris had a birthday!  We woke Wyatt up with silly string.  He wasn't thrilled about that.

 

 

Then we went out to breakfast for their free meals at Denny's

 

I met Wyatt at school and brought him a lunch from McDonald's

The we were off to Joe's Farm Grill for dinner and their free birthday meal there too!

 

 

Grandma Standage took him out for his birthday shopping

 All he asked for from us was a pocket knife.

 

 

We went down to the temple grounds and took some pictures for his baptism

 

Grandpa Standage baptized and confirmed him.

After the baptism we had everyone over for lunch and a party.

 

Adding his quarters to his growth chart.  The kid is getting tall.

 

 

Other happenings in May.  Fruit was on sale so I bought and bunch and tried my hand at making jam.  Turned out so good!

Did a little kite flying

 

Found  a swarm of bees in our front tree. Had to call the exterminators. 

 

I chaperoned Kate's field trip at school.

 

Bought a couple toys

March

Spring Break

 

We met Tracy and the kids for lunch at Peter Piper Pizza then the girls came over and had a sleep over.

I took the kids to Golfland and we spent 8 hours playing there. They goofy golfed a few times, rode the bumper boats and race cars multiple times, and played laser tag.

 

 

 

We went as a family and spent the day in Jerome, AZ.  Our first stop was lunch at the Haunted Hamburger.

 

 

Then we headed to the Ghost town and spent a couple hours there

 

 

 

 

On our way back we went through Prescott and had dinner.  We found a patch of snow on the way  and had a snowball fight in our shorts and flip flops!!

 

St. Patty's Day

We had dinner at Grandma Kersey's house.  Corned beef and cabbage!

 

Wyatt got hit in the eye with a piece of ice that the kids were playing with in the back yard.  Apparently ice cream makes it all better!

 We had Easter dinner and the egg hunt at Grandma Hall's
