Our New Front Door

By these pictures you will surely see why a new front door was a necessity. This turned out to be quite a project too. We had a door custom made and it took over a month to get it. Once it came and we were installing it, we realized it had been cut too short and wrong. After trying to make it work, we had the door people come out. In the end, they said they would order us another new door. So we waited for a new one to come. When the second door came, we realized that they cut the hinges in the wrong spots. What! Luckily for us, Chris's dad is an expert in wordworking and was able to fill in the wrong hinge spots and cut new ones. (We were done working the the door people!) My father in law spent HOURS sanding and staining and putting all the trim work on. He did an amazing job!
