Birthday Weekend!

Saturday night Great Grandma and Grandpa Hall and Grandma and Grandpa Kersey all came over to celebrate with Kate. 

 Grandma Hall has a collection of porcelain dolls that Kate has aways loved.  Grandma thought she was old enough now to take care of one.  This porcelain doll was handmade by Grandpa Hall's sister and is about 40 years old.

 Kate got to pick the restaurant.  She picked the same one she picked last year- Golden Corral.  We always try to suggest other places (we really don't like it) but its her birthday and that's what she wanted.  (I think she saw the commercial for it on TV where they showed the chocolate fountain and cotton candy machine.)  Her and Wyatt ate about 3 of them each!! 

 Back home she got measured and was able to fill in her quarters.

Then last night we met at Grandma and Grandpa Standages for dinner and had another family party for Kate and Emma. 

   Grandma crocheted them each a blanket.  (and Makayla got one too)
