Last Thursday afternoon we headed out to Luna, New Mexico. Our stake was having a pioneer trek for all the youth and asked if Chris could come help with the black powder rifle shoot on Friday. So he helped with that while me and the kids hung out at this ranch for the day. The trek was taking place further on down the canyon but our trailer was too big to get back there so he left us here and drove his truck. This was a ranch built in 1890 and was restored by the current owners. It was beautiful there and we had fun.

We only stayed a day then took off back towards home and met up with my family who were camping up on the rim- near Willows Springs Lake. We spent the rest of the weekend there.

Luna New Mexico! Do you remember my friend Lary Nicolds? His parents lived in Luna New Mexico. We visited there several times. Population 50 or something like that. Luna New Mexico is where you can cuss from the pulpit at church and nobody bats an eye. That's common place there! You gotta love it! It looks like you guys had a fun time vacationing together.
My in laws that our in our ward now moved down from up there. My sister Trisha Wright and her hubby Robert were up there with the trek pretending to be Brigham Young and running the sack races. It looks so fun...to bad it akes like 5 hours to get up there from here!! Ps. Soccer registration is going on right now if you want Kate to play on the same team with Abby. (They place kids by Adresses so I'd be really shocked if she wasn't put on our team) The web page is on my blog. It's though AYSO. Talk to ya later!
