Hard Life Lessons

Last night I was out mowing the back yard and I had my little helper following me around. I was emptying the grass from the grass catcher on the mower into the trash can and turned to Wyatt and said "Don't touch the lawnmower- it's hot". He must have thought, "really....let me see" because he immediately looked at it and touched it on purpose to see if I was telling him the truth. He screamed and I rushed him into the house for ice. It was a long night from there. We had a lot of time to talk about listening and trusting mommy.
