State Fair

This last Friday we headed out to the State Fair. We have a friend who was driving in the demolition derby and wanted to go watch. When we got there we found out that there was about a hour left of "happy hour" which meant we got in for half price and all rides were $1. So we hurried and let the kids ride on as many rides as they could for the next hour. Then we went and ate all of that greasy fried fair food until we felt sick. We got to the demolition derby a little late so we had to sit in the bleachers down in front of the pit- which was OK because we got to see our friends working on their car. We could still see the derby fine from where we were.

We actually all went down the big slide together.

Kate and Chris played one the carnival games. Kate actually beat Chris (I think with a little help from the operator of the game). She played it until she won a red dog for her and one for Wyatt.

Of course there was cotton candy.
