Greer- Fall Break

For Fall Break we rented a cabin in Greer.  It is actually the 2nd oldest structure in Greer.  It wasn't fancy, but it was cozy!  We love Greer and haven't been for a few years so this was a perfect trip!  We got a storm that came in one night and hailed on us so it was a little cold, but we had some nice days too!

 

We had a fire going everyday.

 

There is a little playground and pond on the property.

 

 See the fire line?  That is how close Greer came to burning a few years ago.

The kids liked to take walks and feed the horses some apples.

 

We spent one morning trying to get some good family pictures. 

 

But is was cold and windy!

  

Spent a lot of time fishing...

Grandma and Grandpa were also celebrating their anniversary so we had a nice dinner at Molly Butler's.

 

So last Christmas we gave Kate a voucher to go horseback riding, but we never took her!  So we decided we had better make good on her Christmas present before Christmas rolls around again.  This was so much fun.  It was a first for my kids.  They loved it.  What a beautiful place to go riding too!
