ASU game

Saturday night we went to the ASU game with Gma's and Gpa's and our friends John and Jan. I think I am the only one NOT in ASU colors!! We had a good time. We didn't get home until midnight and both kids were still awake and wired. I wonder if it was the chocolate covered apples rolled in M&M's that they ate???? We did the whole tailgating thing and and found our seat about 45 minutes before the game. So here we are hanging out waiting for the game to start.

On a side note-
We live across the street from an elementary school. Chris walked across the street yesterday to put some stuff in the recyclable bin they have in their parking lot. When he opened the lid- he saw a pile of books thrown in there. So he grabbed them and brought them in the house. There were about 55 books still in great condition! So after a bottle of Lysol disinfecting wipes- they are now a part of our kids library!! Score!!! I still can't believe some one would toss them- at least donate them somewhere!

Our Week In Greer

We had a great time in Greer. The weather was beautiful and we even got some rain. The kids got to shoot dads 22 rifle and Dad got to do a little target shooting of his own. We went for a little off roading up the mountains and Wyatt got to drive with dad. Kate and her grandma went digging for worms and found a bunch. We never did convince Kate to go fishing with them. She just wanted to bring them home. Unfortunately the kids and I all got sick before we could go fishing. The last couple days were spent hanging out in the trailer. The kids both had fevers and the croup. We even had to take Wyatt into the Emergency room in Springerville. He is fine- but had to get some treatments to help him breathe better. I am still trying to get over whatever it is I have- a horrible headache and a terrible sore throat.

But we still enjoyed our week away and hate to come back to the heat.

Diamondbacks Game!

Saturday night we went to the diamondbacks game with Chris's parents and grandparents. The kids actually did really well. They had fireworks after the game so the kids thought that was pretty cool. We had a great time- and they won which made it even better!

Wyatt had his glove on the whole time yelling for them to throw him the ball.
