2nd Annual Girls Weekend

So this weekend we had our 2nd annual girls weekend. Unlike last year where we were spoiled at the Westin Resort (that was free), we spent the weekend at my house. I sent Chris and the kids to go stay with his parents, and we had a slumber party! We had pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris (virgin of course!) with our cheese and chocolate fondue!

Jenn had class and joined us later! She hates pictures and has camera phobia and gives me such a hard time about it- but isn't she so cute!
Then we had our favorite things gift exchange. We each bring something that we love that is under $5 and give one to everybody.

After gifts we played Apples to Apples. Jenn beat us all by a landslide. We had so much fun laughing! After that we watched 2 girly movies and then went to bed at about 2:30 in the morning!
So mom gave us all $50 to spend at the mall today. Her catch was we had to spend it on ourselves then do show and tell at lunch. THANKS MOM! You made that so much fun for us! After a few hours of shopping we met up at the Rain Forest Cafe for lunch. This is Jenn with one of her purchases.
After lunch we continued shopping for a couple more hours and then went back to my house where we talked into the evening until Chris and the kids came home about 8:30pm. We didn't get a two night away like last year- but we still had so much fun!

So while we were playing this weekend- Chris took the kids to a diamondbacks game with his parents and grandparents.
